The successful candidate will join an established Global Tax Compliance team, taking responsibility for VAT/GST compliance across multiple jurisdictions while supporting wider indirect tax initiatives and projects.

Barcelona, SpainWorking Model: Remote / Flexible WorkingEmployment Type: Permanent, Full-TimeKey Responsibilities of the Global VAT Compliance Analyst:Prepare and submit VAT/GST returns, Intrastat declarations and related indirect tax filings across multiple jurisdictionsEnsure compliance with filing deadlines, payment obligations and relevant reporting requirementsPerform VAT reconciliations, investigate discrepancies and support their resolutionCollaborate with internal stakeholders,



international finance teams and external service providers on indirect tax mattersSupport internal and external audits, respond to VAT/GST queries and monitor changes in indirect tax legislationContribute to projects involving supply chain changes, IT system improvements and evolving tax reporting requirementsKey

Requirements:
3 to 5 years of hands-on VAT/GST compliance experience, including preparing VAT calculations and returnsExperience working across multiple VAT jurisdictions is highly desirableStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand the wider business impact of transactionsAdvanced Excel skills and confidence working with financial dataFluent English, with excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with international stakeholdersPrevious experience within a multinational organization, Big Four firm or working with SAP would be advantageous but is not essentialEMEA Recruitment is committed to promoting Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in the workplace.
