About the Role
Our client, WhatJobs Direct, is seeking a Senior Specialist in Purchasing and Supply Chain to join their established team in León, Guanajuato . This vital role will be responsible for managing and optimizing the company's procurement processes and supply chain operations, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and a robust supply network. The idóneo candidate will possess extensive experience in strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, inventory control, and logistics coordination. You will play a key role in identifying opportunities for cost reduction, negotiating favorable agreements, and ensuring the timely and reliable delivery of materials and services. Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies for key commodities and services.
Manage and nurture relationships with key suppliers, ensuring performance and compliance.
Conduct in-depth market analysis and cost evaluations to identify savings opportunities.
Lead negotiations for contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve optimal outcomes.
Oversee inventory levels and implement strategies to optimize stock management.
Coordinate logistics and transportation to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with production and business goals.




Ensure adherence to procurement policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
Identify and implement process improvements within the purchasing and supply chain functions.
RequirementsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
Proven experience in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiation, and contract management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience in managing inventory and logistics operations.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management capabilities.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing or Six Sigma principles is a plus.
