We are currently looking for an experienced Electronics Purchasing Specialist to join our Purchasing Department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing electronic components and materials required for our manufacturing operations, working closely with national and international suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, material availability, quality, and on-time deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the purchasing and sourcing of electronic components, including semiconductors, integrated circuits, resistors, capacitors, connectors, PCBs, and other electronic materials.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop relationships with electronic component manufacturers, authorized distributors, and international suppliers.
- Negotiate prices, lead times, minimum order quantities, and other conditions to optimize purchasing costs.
- Manage purchase orders, confirmations, and deliveries to ensure continuous material supply for production.
- Source alternative components and suppliers in coordination with the Engineering and Quality departments.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Production,



and Quality teams to ensure component specifications and purchasing requirements are met.
- Analyze purchasing costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction and supplier optimization.
- Manage supplier performance, delivery issues, and quality-related incidents.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier information, pricing, and lead times in the ERP system.

Requirements

- Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing electronic components, preferably within an electronics manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of electronic components, manufacturers, and distribution channels.
- Experience working with national and international electronic component suppliers and distributors.
- Ability to understand electronic component references, technical specifications, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Fluency in Spanish and a high level of English, both written and spoken.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Electronics, Engineering, or a related field will be valued.
