The Purchasing Supervisor – Indirect Materials is responsible for managing the procurement of indirect goods and services required to support business operations. This role ensures cost-effective sourcing, supplier performance management, compliance with company purchasing policies, and uninterrupted supply of indirect materials. The position supervises purchasing activities, supports strategic sourcing initiatives, and collaborates closely with internal stakeholders to meet operational and financial objectives.Functions and ResponsibilitiesOrganize and lead activities in the receiving areaLead the materials planning teamDevelop the individual and group capabilities of the planning team, Team Leaders (TLs), and Team Managers (TMs)Provide continuous training to TLs to ensure compliance with organizational standards regarding safety, quality, and processesManage the escalation process for TLs and lead TMs to achieve the best possible resultsLead the implementation of standardized work within the areaEnsure operational stability and effective teamworkManage the KPIs defined for the area by the organization (safety,
