Overview

As a Test Engineer in Valeo’s Industrial Testing team, you help define and implement testing strategies for electrical and software-enabled products. You translate customer requirements and regulatory rules into robust test plans and hardware/software test programs. You’ll validate test coverage, collaborate with Software Validation and R&D;, and support the deployment of testing equipment and automated test racks. Your work drives product quality, process efficiency, and compliance with safety and environmental standards, contributing to Valeo’s mission of greener, more secure mobility.

Responsabilidades

- Analyse customer requirements, legal regulations and internal specs to shape Testing strategies
- Develop EOLT specifications for new equipment (Hardware & Software)
- Design and develop complex test programs, processes and systems to measure product functionality and integrity
- Analyse test cases and failures, propose scenarios and corrective actions
- Check SW and Test Methodology/Coverage during DFT Design Review with R&D;
- May develop or improve functional Tester software
- Review Functional Testers development and plan
- Collaborate with Software Validation to ensure complete test coverage of requirements
- Outline electronic test plans from customer specs and legal requirements




- Support creation of test equipment specs and tester hardware specifications for automated test racks
- Perform validation, capabilities, test coverage and stability testing of testers
- Monitor testing TLR, analyse defects and propose action plans to reduce
- Validate PG RAISE and CdC standards set by M/D Standard Owners
- Validate changes to standards proposed by sites for new testing investments
- Validate assembly line aspects in CAA (concept, cycle time, investment)
- Contribute to product & process FMEA, assisting Testing technicians
- Support transition of new processes into production with equipment specs and qualification
- Define activities for integrating Testing equipment into complex manufacturing cells
- Survey equipment as part of continuous improvement and cost-reduction mindset
- Develop cross-project industrial competence
- Promote Valeo Industrial standard rules and procedures
- Ensure Safety and Environment procedures are respected
- PS: workload permitting, role can be split across multiple people
