Experteer Overview
In this role you shape the braking systems of state-of-the-art rail vehicles, ensuring safe and efficient stopping across the lifecycle. You will be the technical focal point for project management, suppliers, and internal engineering teams, driving concept to warranty. You analyze regulatory and customer requirements to craft subsystem concepts and set test and approval plans. You collaborate across an international, cross-functional environment to deliver high-quality, safety-critical braking solutions. • Own the brake systems lifecycle from concept to warranty
• Act as technical POC for project management, purchasing, customers, and other engineering units
• Analyze requirements to develop project-specific brake concepts for brake and air supply
• Prepare supplier selection templates considering cost, technology, and compliance




• Implement solutions with suppliers and internal teams
• Define test specifications, evaluate results, and prepare approval documentation
• Oversee technical quality gates for engineering and suppliers throughout development

Responsabilidades
• Master's or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics
• Extensive experience with brake systems for rail vehicles
• Strong knowledge of braking system architecture, IBS basics, QA, and product safety
• Deep understanding of requirements, approval processes, and standards for braking systems in rail
• Excellent English for international collaboration; additional languages a plus
• Willingness to travel occasionally
