In this role you will help shape Emburse’s platform as it scales to meet the needs of thousands of customers. You’ll develop high-quality software, mentor junior teammates, and collaborate with product, analytics, and operations to deliver secure, reliable APIs and services. You’ll tackle complex debugging, design decisions, and refactoring that improve maintainability and performance. • Lead and contribute to software development with minimal supervision
• Mentor junior developers and onboard new team members
• Participate in SDLC activities, agile ceremonies, code reviews, and release readiness
• Design and document solutions, contribute to system design discussions

• Fix complex bugs and perform advanced debugging
• Collaborate with product, analytics, and other stakeholders to align requirements

Responsabilidades
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent years' experience
• Minimum 6 years professional Java development experience
• Experience with OS X and Linux environments
• Spring, AWS, Microservices, SQL, NoSQL, Git
• Experience designing and building JSON/REST services and working with 3rd party APIs; Docker or containers
• Test Driven Development and functional testing
• Strong understanding of design patterns and OOP; REST API security
• Ability to mentor and communicate complex concepts to junior staff
