Overview

As a Client Portfolio Manager in Barcelona, you will manage a diverse client portfolio, structure and execute FX, payments, and financing solutions to reduce risk and unlock growth. You will collaborate with a senior sales team to originate business, upsell Ebury’s product suite, and uphold strong client relationships. You’ll translate clients’ strategies into tailored cash-management and hedging solutions while contributing to company growth and team development. Responsabilidades
- Manage a portfolio of corporate clients and execute a range of products (FX hedging, supplier payments financing, payments, cash management)
- Upsell and promote Ebury’s product capabilities to deliver best-in-class client propositions
- Collaborate with a large sales team to support business origination
- Understand clients’ environments and strategies to tailor optimal solutions from Ebury’s product suite




- Assess competition to position banking solutions effectively
- Meet KPIs including revenue growth, churn reduction, and wallet-share expansion
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through meetings and professional proposals
- Provide feedback to technology and product teams to expand capabilities
- Originate new business via networking and referrals

Requisitos principales
- Strong Financial Services experience in sales or relationship management
- Established network of contacts is advantageous
- Experience in FX institutions, banks, or selling financial instruments to SMEs and corporates
- Solid understanding of compliance requirements
- Academic background in Business or Finance is a plus
- Exceptional communication skills to win commitment
- Sophisticated technical ability: statistical/fundamental analysis & risk management
- Proven track record in upselling, cross-selling, and new client acquisition
- Skilled negotiator with senior-level relationship-building abilities
- Fluency in local language and business-level English
