Overview

In this role you will oversee indirect materials procurement, focusing on cost-effective sourcing, supplier performance, and policy compliance to keep operations uninterrupted. You will supervise purchasing activities, support strategic sourcing initiatives, and partner with internal stakeholders to meet operational and financial goals. You drive standardization, training, and KPI management to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency across the planning area. Your work enables optimal stock levels and reliable material supply, while leading continuous improvement projects. This position offers impact through coordinating cross-functional teams and shaping procurement processes within the site

Responsabilidades

- Organize and lead receiving area activities
- Lead and develop the materials planning team including Team Leaders and Team Managers
- Provide ongoing training to TLs ensuring safety, quality, and process compliance
- Manage escalations to TLs and guide TMs toward optimal results




- Implement standardized work within the area and ensure operational stability
- Manage area KPIs (safety, quality, shipments, cost, personnel)
- Define planning strategy to balance stock levels with material availability
- Maintain optimal raw material stock levels to support production
- Lead cycle count processes
- Optimize and maintain material resources (logistics, shelving)
- Provide support to other plants within the group
- Drive and participate in improvement projects within scope of responsibility
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards and HSE policies
- Collaborate to achieve optimal stock levels
- Participate in implementing and maintaining improvement systems (5S, LPAs, TPM, audits, EHS standards)
- Collaborate with other departments as required
