Overview

In this role you will safeguard UN information assets and ensure secure, reliable digital services. You’ll lead information security governance and risk management across the UNGSC digital environment, driving vulnerability identification, remediation, and disaster recovery improvements. You will coordinate complex system projects, align with ITIL/ISO standards, and mentor project teams. This is a chance to shape secure, scalable digital services for a integral organization.

Responsabilidades

- Plan and direct major, mission-critical systems projects impacting wide user groups
- Provide expert systems analysis and design guidance and develop feasibility, requirements, and implementation plans
- Oversee ISO 27001 certification and ISO 42001 AI, align with ITIL/ISO 20000 practices
- Ensure information security and disaster recovery compliance across new digital services
- Develop cost proposals and manage contract evaluations and service delivery
- Track project progress, liaise with users, and ensure quality and security controls
- Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams and supervise staff as needed




- Lead complex tasks in systems analysis, development, and security controls
- Develop and monitor information standards and testing paradigms
- Prepare technical documentation, user guides, and training materials
- Stay updated on new technologies and assess their impact; deliver technical reports
- Facilitate client communications and plan budgets and work programs
- Analyze data to identify trends and support data-driven decision making

Requisitos principales
- Minimum of seven years of progressively responsible experience in planning, design, development, implementation and maintenance of computer information systems
- Two or more years of experience in data analytics or related area (desirable)
- English required; French as working language is noted but English proficiency is essential
