Overview

In this role you design and implement controls software for MU projects, including repairs, upgrades, extensions, and customer support. You will develop PLC software and visualization, emulate and test control logic, and commission systems on-site while ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery. You’ll produce documentation and provide technical guidance, contributing to Dematic’s global automation initiatives and customer-focused service. This position offers hands-on engineering work with cross-functional teams and travel to customer sites.

Responsabilidades
- Deliver project scope while meeting safety, quality, and delivery targets
- Provide customer support and field commissioning on-site (electrical and PLC)
- Develop PLC software and visualization solutions
- Emulate and test PLC software and validate against requirements
- Interpret electrical schematics and input data for commissioning
- Produce commissioning documentation (checklists,



test specs)
- Maintain design calculations, specifications, method statements, risk assessments, and manuals
- Provide technical guidance and support to end users and test activities
- Collaborate with the team and support subsystems through learning and R&D; topics

Requisitos principales
- Electrical/Mechatronics/Controls engineering experience
- Hands-on industrial automation experience
- Experience with PLC development tools (Siemens, Rockwell)
- Ability to read electrical/electronic manuals and drawings
- Knowledge of Machine Directive and safety standards
- Understanding of distributed control systems
- Experience with software testing and emulation
- Fluent in English
- Full driver’s license and willingness to travel 30–40%
