Overview

We are looking for a Cloud Engineering Intern with an interest in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), DevOps, and Generative AI.

You will join a technical team and, with ongoing guidance and support, contribute to the deployment, automation, monitoring, and support of cloud solutions.

The main focus will be on GCP, with additional exposure to Microsoft Azure. Advanced experience or cloud architecture design knowledge is not required.

Responsibilities

- Deploy and configure infrastructure, resources, applications, and services in GCP.

-

- Support CI/CD pipelines and automation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

-

- Assist with the operation and monitoring of cloud infrastructure and services using logs, metrics, and alerts.

- Identify, analyse, and troubleshoot technical issues related to infrastructure,



connectivity, and applications.

-

- Support the deployment and integration of Generative AI services.

-

- Document infrastructure configurations, deployments, and technical procedures.

-

- Gain exposure to equivalent services and infrastructure in Microsoft Azure.

Qualifications
Key Responsibilities

-

- Document infrastructure configurations, deployments, and technical procedures.

- Gain exposure to equivalent services and infrastructure in Microsoft Azure.

Technical Knowledge

-

- Basic knowledge of GCP, including Compute Engine, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, IAM, VPC, Cloud Logging, and Cloud Monitoring.

- Understanding of DevOps concepts and tools, such as Git, CI/CD,



Docker, Terraform, and scripting with Bash or Python.

- Basic knowledge of, or interest in learning, Kubernetes.

- Interest in GCP AI services, including Vertex AI, Gemini, Agent Builder, embeddings, vector search, and RAG solutions.

- Basic understanding of Linux, networking, security, and the principle of least privilege.

- Interest in Azure and multi-cloud environments.

Candidate Profile

-

- Final-year student or recent graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.

- Strong interest in developing a career in Cloud, DevOps, and Generative AI.

- Strong learning ability, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

- Proactive, responsible, and comfortable working as part of a team.

- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools, such as Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, and OneDrive.

- Sufficient technical English to understand documentation, procedures, and specialised resources.

Nice to Have

Introductory certifications, academic or personal projects, or initial hands-on experience with GCP, Azure, Python, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Vertex AI, or Gemini will be considered a plus.
