Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and manage all incoming and outgoing logistics operations.
* Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce carrying costs.
* Coordinate with transportation providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
* Manage warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluation.
* Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
* Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
* Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and other logistics-related data.
* Collaborate with the sales and purchasing departments to forecast demand and manage stock.
* Implement and manage warehouse management systems (WMS) for enhanced efficiency. Requirements
* Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or similar role, preferably in a Senior capacity.
* In-depth knowledge of supply chain management, inventory control, and warehousing best practices.
* Experience with WMS software and other logistics-related technologies.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Strong leadership and team management abilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams and external partners.
