About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Especialista en Planificación y Control de Proyectos for their construction division in León, Guanajuato . This role is essential for ensuring the successful execution of construction projects by developing robust project plans, schedules, and budgets, and meticulously tracking progress against these benchmarks. The adecuado candidate will possess strong analytical skills, expertise in project management methodologies, and a thorough understanding of the construction lifecycle. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to identify potential risks, optimize resource allocation, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. This is a key position within a growing company, offering the chance to contribute significantly to major developments in a rapidly expanding industrial and commercial hub. We are looking for a meticulous planner with excellent communication and reporting skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop detailed project schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS), and resource plans for construction projects in León .
- Establish and maintain project budgets, tracking expenditures and forecasting costs.
- Monitor project progress, identifying critical path activities and potential delays.
- Implement and manage project control systems to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
- Analyze project performance data and prepare regular progress reports for stakeholders.




- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies in collaboration with project teams.
- Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Facilitate project meetings and assist in resolving scheduling and resource conflicts.
- Ensure compliance with project management best practices and company procedures.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, and cost control within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, methodologies, and terminology.
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong ability to manage complex data and information.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse teams.
- Familiarity with risk management techniques in construction projects.
- Fluency in Spanish; knowledge of English is a plus.
