Our client is seeking a seasoned Contador General to oversee their accounting operations on a fully remote basis. This senior role is vital for managing the company's financial health, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and maintaining robust internal controls. You will lead the accounting function, working autonomously and collaborating with a distributed team to drive financial excellence. Manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.




Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards (e.g., Lead the year-end closing process and coordinate with external auditors.
Develop and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
Provide financial insights and support to senior management for strategic decision‐making.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a general accounting management role.
Expertise in accounting software and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong knowledge of IFRS or GAAP and relevant tax regulations.
