You will be responsible for developing and implementing manufacturing processes for new blade projects, supporting prototyping activities, production ramp-up and international roll-out, while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality and operational excellenceYOUR TASKS:Lead and support the development and implementation of new blade manufacturing processesPrepare and review manufacturing specifications and process documentationDefine and maintain BOMs (Bill of Materials), Value Stream Maps and manpower allocation plansDevelop decision matrices for new product and process designsPrepare test documentation and test plansConduct physical trials and manufacturing validationsAnalyse trial results and prepare technical test reportsCoordinate with internal stakeholders including Blade Engineering, Quality Assurance, Tooling, R&D; and NPI teamsDrive the implementation of process changes and improvements during development and production roll-out phasesCollaborate with external stakeholders involved in development and industrialisation projectsSupervise manufacturing and development activities to ensure successful deployment of new products and processesSupport international production roll-out projectsYOUR PROFILE:Engineering degree such as Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Materials Engineering,



Chemical Engineering or similarMinimum 8 years of engineering experience within the composites industryAt least 4 years of experience in two of the following areas: participation in new product developments, international production roll-out of new products, or process engineering in a production facility with focus on HSE, quality, costs and cycle timeMinimum 3 years of practical experience in boat building and manufacturing of composite structures (blades or civil), including hand layup, VARTM, RTM, and working with epoxy and polyesterKnowledge of Office package, technical drawing interpretation and AutoCAD 2D; CATIA and Siemens NX are considered an advantageStrong communication and knowledge-transfer skills, team management and conflict resolution skillsEnglish (C1) is mandatory; Spanish (B2) is required; German (B2) is considered a plusAvailability to travel internationally approximately 6 months per year, typically in assignments of 3 to 6 consecutive weeksABOUT THE NORDEX GROUPThe manufacture of wind energy plants in the on-shore segment has been our core competence and passion for around 40years.
