The role covers in the Mission and GCS department, integrate third-party products with Orbotix systems, develop high-level drone algorithms and logic for flight control, sensors, navigation, guidance, operations and swarm coordination, and plan and execute complex field tests and demonstrations while managing operational risk.
RequirementsEngineering degreeexperience developing complex drone or autonomous-vehicle systems and running complex field testsdeep knowledge of navigation filters (EKF), guidance, PID control and system modellingworking C++comfortable in dynamic field conditionsfluent EnglishFixed-wing, VTOL, helicopter and UGV configurations, live demos and microcontroller programming are nice to have.
