The Legal & Compliance Fellowship is a paid, hands-on role at the heart of how a fast-growing, multi-jurisdiction venture capital firm operates. You will see how the legal function enables investing, from entity structuring to regulatory obligations to fund governance, and you will own real work that keeps a globally expanding firm compliant, organized, and moving. Fellows work directly with our Legal Counsel and leave with practical experience in venture capital legal operations.

What You Will Do

The role is focused on the back-office legal operations of the fund. You will support the Legal Counsel in making sure that compliance and legal projects are clearly defined, assigned to specific owners, and managed to timely and effective conclusion.

Project management

- Track and drive compliance and legal workstreams across jurisdictions, from scoping through completion
- Define deliverables, owners, and deadlines for each project, and follow up to keep them on schedule
- Maintain a central tracker of open matters, status, and next steps, and report progress to the Legal Counsel




- Support firm-wide initiatives such as the compliance framework and entity-related projects as the firm expands

Document and workflow management

- Organize and maintain legal and compliance documents, agreements, and records so they are complete and easy to find
- Build and improve repeatable workflows, templates, and checklists for recurring compliance and legal processes
- Prepare summaries, trackers, and first drafts to support the Legal Counsel's review

Learning and exposure

- Learn how legal, finance, and investment teams work together inside a venture capital firm
- Gain exposure to fund structures, regulatory and compliance requirements, and cross-border operations

Requirements

- Current law student or recent law graduate
- Available at least 15 hours per week; full-time position available
- Based in Europe, with fluency in English
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and clear written communication
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and follow through independently

Preferred

- Experience managing workflows or projects, ideally around compliance matters
- Experience with document management and tracking tools
- Interest in venture capital
- Comfort working across time zones and in a multicultural, international team
