Orbotix is recruiting a Drone & Mission Engineer in Valencia, Spain. Contract: full time. Degree level: Engineering degree. Language: English (fluent). Work experience: Complex drone/autonomous systems experience.
The role covers in the Mission and GCS department, integrate third-party products with Orbotix systems, develop high-level drone algorithms and logic for flight control, sensors, navigation, guidance, operations and swarm coordination, and plan and execute complex field tests and demonstrations while managing operational risk.
Requirements
- Engineering degree
- experience developing complex drone or autonomous-vehicle systems and running complex field tests
- deep knowledge of navigation filters (EKF), guidance, PID control and system modelling
- working C++
- comfortable in dynamic field conditions
- fluent English
Fixed-wing, VTOL, helicopter and UGV configurations, live demos and microcontroller programming are nice to have.
