At Itera Mobility Engineering , we are looking for a Vehicle Assessment Engineer to join our engineering team located in Almussafes, Spain.
Main responsibilities of the position:
- Analyze and resolve technical and quality issues related to powertrain systems, including engines, transmissions, and thermal management components.
- Apply structured problem-solving methodologies (5D, 8D, and 6-Panel) to support root cause analysis and issue resolution.
- Manage and maintain engineering change documentation for vehicle programs.
- Review, analyze, and update Bills of Materials (BOM) for assigned components.
- Develop and propose technical improvements and added-value solutions for launch vehicles.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of components meeting quality, design, and program requirements.
- Provide technical support to cross-functional teams involved in vehicle launch activities.
- Present implemented solutions and technical decisions to the customer in relevant review forums.
- Identify, propose, and implement cost-reduction initiatives.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Powertrain Hardware Engineer (+2 years) in the automotive sector.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- Previous knowledge in Automotive.
- B1 level of English or higher.
