Mechanical Technical Manager - Data Centres

About the Opportunity

Our client is an international infrastructure developer delivering next-generation hyperscale and AI-ready data centre campuses across Europe.

They are seeking a Mechanical Technical Manager to provide technical leadership across cooling systems, HVAC infrastructure and mechanical design for a growing portfolio of mission-critical developments in Spain. This position offers the opportunity to influence projects from concept design through construction and commissioning while working within a highly collaborative client-side environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead mechanical engineering and design review activities.
- Develop and assess cooling strategies for hyperscale and high-density environments.
- Review HVAC, chilled water, heat rejection and cooling plant systems.
- Coordinate mechanical interfaces with electrical, civil and architectural disciplines.
- Support equipment selection,



procurement and technical evaluations.
- Manage consultant and contractor technical deliverables.
- Support construction, testing and commissioning activities.

Requirements

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Experience within data centres, mission-critical facilities or complex industrial projects.
- Strong understanding of HVAC, chilled water and cooling infrastructure.
- Experience managing consultants, contractors and multidisciplinary stakeholders.
- Fluent English required.
