Overview

In this role you will oversee translation and copy-editing tasks for assigned projects, coordinating with freelancers and internal teams to ensure high-quality multilingual deliverables. You will manage language materials such as glossaries and style guides, resolve terminology queries, and help optimize workflows. You will interact with clients on linguistic matters and contribute to developing improved processes within a integral, AI-supported localization environment. This is a remote, production-level position within a cross-functional setting.

Responsabilidades

- Perform copy-edit tasks on assigned projects or accounts
- Perform on-demand translation tasks
- Provide lead support on assigned projects or accounts
- Manage and maintain language materials (glossaries, style guides, work instructions) up to quality standards
- Handle project-related queries and terminology questions
- Ensure good interaction among team members and resolve language matters
- Test and qualify new freelancers and vendors
- Develop and train internal linguists and external partners
- Interact with clients on linguistic matters as required
- Participate in developing improved working processes
- Meet or exceed KPIs for productivity,



on-time delivery, and quality
- Achieve team goals set by the manager

Requisitos principales

- Native fluency in Korean
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- 4+ years of translation/localization/editing or content writing experience
- 2+ years of review experience
- Thorough understanding of the localization process
- Proficient with Windows and Office
- Experience with CAT tools (XTM, SDL Studio) and issue tracking tools (JIRA)
- Ability to learn new localization tools quickly
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Strong terminology knowledge across multiple subject matters
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Clear, concise, constructive feedback abilities
- Effective presentation and client-facing communication
- Problem solving with diverse, non-standardized inputs
- Willingness to train/teach others and share knowledge
