Experteer Overview
In this role you will lead HV substation design and grid connection activities for major Data Centre projects. You will act as the client's on-site representative, coordinating with TSOs, DSOs, EPCs and contractors to ensure design integrity, safety, and regulatory compliance. You will guide interfaces between HV infrastructure and facility power systems, and support commissioning and IST. This is a hands-on, multi-stakeholder role with travel across Spain and on-site presence as required. Join a global team delivering complex, scalable power solutions for data centre environments.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Manage end-to-end HV substation design activities from concept through FEED to detailed design
• Coordinate interfaces between incoming HV infrastructure and internal facility power systems (generators, UPS, MSBs, switchgear)
• Support commissioning activities, SAP switching protocols, and Integrated Systems Testing
• Coordinate HV civil engineering packages for grid connection projects
• Act as the client's on-site representative with TSOs, DSOs, EPCs and contractors
• Review designs, method statements, drawings,



and technical documentation
• Ensure adherence to regulations, safety standards, quality requirements and project specs
• Monitor project risks, change management, and progress reporting

Responsabilidades
• Degree in Engineering (BSc / MSc or equivalent experience)
• Strong background in HV substations, transmission/distribution projects, or grid-related civil works
• Construction sector experience, ideally within a Data Centre environment
• Exposure to large scale complex projects with client-facing collaboration
• Excellent stakeholder management
• Ability to manage multiple interfaces and stakeholders simultaneously
• Experience in data centre projects is a strong advantage
• Fluent in Spanish and very good English
• Willingness to be on-site as required
