Overview

You are the regional payroll subject matter expert responsible for end-to-end payroll execution and regulatory compliance. You will own local payroll processes, support cross-country knowledge sharing, and drive improvements to scale payroll operations. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement systems and ensure accurate, timely payroll and reporting. This role connects regulatory changes to actionable actions, shaping compliant payroll delivery for a global workforce.

Responsabilidades

- Evaluate and select payroll software aligned with Deel requirements
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll execution in your region and trained countries
- Prepare and reconcile internal payroll reports for tax authorities
- Own local payroll and HR processes (deductions, onboarding/offboarding)
- Schedule payroll expense collections and reconcile to expenses
- Assess and improve rapid-growth processes for compliance
- Stay updated on local regulatory changes and communicate impacts




- Collaborate cross-functionally to provide payroll/HR expertise in region
- Answer complex payroll/HR questions from employees and clients in your region

Requisitos principales

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field
- 5+ years of payroll and HR experience with experience in relevant country
- Strong knowledge of local payroll regulations and policies
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong verbal and written skills to engage with clients and stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal skills for explaining complex issues
- Advanced knowledge of local payroll software solutions
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
- Strong proficiency in English
- Experience with A3 Innuva payroll system
- Experience with implementing new payrolls on recognized payroll solutions
- Experience in multiple country jurisdictions is an advantage
- Ability to lead and mentor junior team members
