Role Description The Developer role at GaldecaTSF is a full-time, on-site position based in Madrid. In this role, the developer will design, implement, test, and maintain software applications, collaborating closely with product, QA, and other engineering team members. Daily responsibilities include writing clean and efficient code, reviewing code from peers, debugging and resolving technical issues, and contributing to system architecture improvements.

The developer will participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and technical discussions, ensuring that solutions align with business requirements and quality standards. The role also involves documenting technical decisions, following best practices, and actively seeking ways to optimize performance and reliability.





Qualifications

- Solid programming skills in one or more modern languages (e.g., Java, C#, JavaScript, Python) and familiarity with object-oriented or functional programming concepts.
- Experience with web or backend development frameworks, APIs, and integration patterns, including working with RESTful services and databases.
- Knowledge of software engineering best practices such as version control (e.g., Git), testing, code review, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD).
- Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and debugging abilities, with a focus on writing maintainable, secure, and efficient code.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional teams and contribute to technical discussions.
- Ability to work on-site in Madrid and manage tasks in a structured, organized manner, meeting deadlines and adapting to changing priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; prior experience in a developer role is an advantage.
- Interest in continuous learning, staying current with emerging technologies, and applying new tools or methods to improve the development process.
