We are looking for a Murex Data Mart and Integration Developer to join our team supporting a major international bank. The person will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing Murex Data Mart extractions and integration flows between Murex Mx.3 and downstream/upstream systems. The role covers data extraction design, ETL processes, interface development, and ongoing support of the integration layer in a live banking environment.
Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Murex Data Mart extractions (reports, feeds, and data exports) for Back Office, Risk, Finance, and Regulatory reporting needs
Build and support integration interfaces between Murex Mx.3 and external systems (e.g., general ledger, settlement platforms, risk engines, regulatory reporting tools, reconciliation systems)
Develop and maintain data feeds using Murex Data Mart, Mx ML/Datamart API, and file-based interfaces (XML, CSV, fixed-format)
Configure and optimize Murex extraction workflows, including scheduling, dependencies, and error handling
Investigate and resolve production issues related to data extractions, interface failures, and data quality problems
Work with Business Analysts and BO/Risk teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical extraction specifications
Support Murex upgrades and patch deployments - assess impact on existing Data Mart extractions and integration flows, perform regression testing
Optimize extraction performance (query tuning, batch scheduling, parallel processing)
Develop and maintain integration components using messaging middleware (MQ, Kafka) or API-based connectivity where applicable
Create and maintain technical documentation: interface specifications,



data mapping documents, extraction logic, and runbooks
Participate in data reconciliation activities to ensure consistency between Murex and downstream systems
Provide L2/L3 production support for Data Mart and integration issues Skills
Must have Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Murex Mx.3 platform, specifically Data Mart module
Strong experience in designing and building Murex Data Mart extractions (reports, feeds, regulatory and financial data exports)
Good knowledge of Murex data model - trades, positions, market data, reference data, accounting events, cash flows
Experience with Murex integration methods: Mx ML, file-based interfaces (XML, CSV), Data Mart API, and real-time/batch data flows
Strong SQL skills - ability to write complex queries, optimize performance, and troubleshoot data issues
Experience with at least one scripting/programming language: Python, Shell, Perl, or Java for automation and data transformation
Understanding of capital markets products: Fixed Income, FX, Interest Rate Derivatives, Equity Derivatives, and/or Credit Derivatives
Knowledge of Back Office and Risk data flows - settlements, confirmations, P&L;, accounting entries, risk measures (Va R, sensitivities)
Experience working in a production support environment with SLA-driven incident management
Good communication skills in English (written and spoken) Nice to have Spanish
Knowledge of ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, SSIS) used alongside Murex Data Mart
Experience with messaging middleware (IBM MQ, Kafka, Active MQ) for real-time integration
