Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Urban Development and Subdivision Project Supervisor to oversee the planning and execution of residential development projects in Mérida, Yucatán . This role is critical for managing all aspects of site development, infrastructure installation (water, sewer, roads, electricity), and ensuring projects meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The idóneo candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering or construction management, with specific expertise in subdivision development. You will be responsible for coordinating with contractors, managing schedules, and ensuring the efficient progress of construction activities in this rapidly growing region.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise all phases of residential subdivision development projects, from initial site work to final finishes.

- Manage on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and quality standards.

- Coordinate and oversee the work of subcontractors and external service providers.

- Ensure compliance with local zoning laws, building codes, and environmental regulations.

- Monitor project timelines and budgets, identifying and addressing potential deviations promptly.





- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety protocols are followed and work quality is maintained.

- Liaise with engineers, surveyors, and municipal authorities as needed.

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for project stakeholders.

- Manage the installation of essential infrastructure, including roads, utilities, and drainage systems.

Requirements

- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

- Minimum of 6 years of experience in supervising urban development and subdivision projects.

- Proven track record in managing residential development projects from start to finish.

- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and urban infrastructure development.

- Familiarity with local regulations and permitting processes in Mérida, Yucatán .

- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.

- Proficiency in project management software is a plus.

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
