We’re hiring: Scientist – Surface Chemistry & Biosensing Bioherent | Málaga, Spain We’re looking for a hands‑on scientist with a background in materials science or chemistry and practical biosensor experience to help develop optical biosensing technologies for in vitro diagnostics.
What you’ll do: Develop functional materials, surface coatings, and nanostructures for biosensing.
Optimize surface functionalization and biomolecule immobilization, particularly on silicon substrates.
Characterize materials and surfaces and investigate their effects on sensor sensitivity, background, stability, and reproducibility.
Improve consistency between functionalization batches and support the
