You are a technically skilled, customer-focused engineer with a strong background in Aerospace & Defense (A&D;). You excel at translating complex technical solutions into real value for customers, leveraging your expertise in digital mission engineering and simulation. Fluent in local language (Spanish/French) and English, you work closely with sales teams to identify opportunities, drive technical engagements, and deliver impactful solutions. Demonstrate profound technical mastery and knowledge of engineering simulation techniques, specifically within aerospace domains, to provide the highest level of technical support to customers, ensuring high-quality and timely service.
Regularly interact with aerospace customers to understand their solution needs, key business initiatives, and engineering design workflows, addressing their requirements for solutions during design and engineering stages.
Lead complex customer engagements throughout the sales opportunity lifecycle, interacting with key customers to understand their technology needs, key business initiatives, engineering design workflows, and articulate our value proposition to Director or C-level audiences.
Gather customer requirements to support the continuous improvement of our software and collaborate with product development teams to translate customer requirements into new product capabilities, guiding the product roadmap.
Mentor junior application engineers, fostering their technical growth and customer-facing skills.
Support field and digital marketing efforts,



including authoring conference presentations, technical papers, and webinars relevant to aerospace applications.
Accelerate the adoption of Digital Mission Engineering software within Spain/France and EMEA’s defense sector, enabling innovative solutions and mission success.
Drive technical excellence and thought leadership in model-based engineering across aerospace and defense domains.
Contribute to the growth of Synopsys' market share in mission engineering applications.
Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Aerospace/ Astronautical/ Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.
Fluent in writing and speaking both Spanish/French and English.
Demonstrated understanding of aerospace engineering practices, product development lifecycles, experience with building solutions using simulation technology, and deploying those solutions within customers’ engineering workflows.
Python, MATLAB, C#, Java.
Familiarity with Communications, Radars, & Sensors Systems (RF propagation, link analysis, jamming/interference, detection and tracking).
Ability to organize and drive multiple complex projects across geographically diverse locations. Demonstrated use of Ansys DME software (STK, ODTK) is preferred.
Understanding of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) is preferred.
Familiarity with Astrodynamics (orbital mechanics, trajectory optimization) and/or Flight Dynamics (aircraft stability and control, aerodynamic performance) is preferred.
