Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage all incoming and outgoing logistics operations.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce carrying costs.
Coordinate with transportation providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
Manage warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluation.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and other logistics-related data.
Collaborate with the sales and purchasing departments to forecast demand and manage stock.
Implement and manage warehouse management systems (WMS) for enhanced efficiency.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or similar role, preferably in a Senior capacity.
In-depth knowledge of supply chain management, inventory control, and warehousing best practices.
Experience with WMS software and other logistics-related technologies.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams and external partners.
