Our client, a significant player in the automotive supply chain, is seeking a dedicated and proactive Agente de Compras y Logística to join their operations in León, Guanajuato, MX . This role is crucial for managing the day-to-day procurement activities, ensuring the timely acquisition of materials and components, and coordinating logistics to maintain efficient production schedules. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of purchasing processes, excellent negotiation skills, and a keen ability to manage relationships with suppliers and logistics providers. This position requires a hands-on approach and a commitment to optimizing costs and ensuring the seamless flow of goods. As this role directly supports operational efficiency, it requires full-time dedication within our facility in León, Guanajuato, MX . Responsabilidades Principal

- Execute purchase orders for raw materials, components, and supplies based on production planning and demand forecasts.

- Source and evaluate potential suppliers, ensuring quality, price, and delivery reliability.

- Negotiate with suppliers to obtain favorable pricing and terms.

- Coordinate with logistics partners for inbound and outbound transportation of goods.

- Track shipments and ensure timely delivery of materials to meet production deadlines.

- Manage inventory levels for assigned materials, minimizing stockouts and excess inventory.

- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier performance.





- Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to orders, deliveries, or supplier performance.

- Collaborate with internal departments, including production, quality, and finance, to ensure alignment.

- Contribute to cost-saving initiatives within the procurement and logistics functions.

Requisitos

- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field is a plus.

- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or logistics coordination.

- Experience in the automotive industry is highly desirable.

- Strong understanding of procurement principles and supply chain operations.

- Proven negotiation and communication skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel, and familiarity with ERP systems.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.

- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities.

- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment in León, Guanajuato, MX .

- Fluency in Spanish required.
