About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Civil Structural Engineer with extensive experience in building structures to join their fully remote engineering team. This position is idóneo for a professional who excels in designing safe, efficient, and innovative structural systems for various types of buildings, including high-rises, commercial complexes, and residential developments. You will leverage advanced analysis tools and collaborate with a distributed team of architects and engineers. Key Responsibilities
Perform structural analysis and design for all types of building structures, including foundations, superstructures, and seismic resistance systems.
Develop detailed structural drawings, specifications, and calculation reports using industry-standard software.
Collaborate effectively with remote architectural and engineering teams to integrate structural designs seamlessly.
Ensure designs comply with national and international building codes (e.g., ACI, AISC, seismic codes).
Review shop drawings and submittals from contractors for structural elements.




Provide technical support and solutions for structural challenges encountered during the design or construction phases (remotely).
Stay current with advancements in structural engineering materials, technologies, and design methodologies.
Manage multiple design tasks simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality documentation.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of design standards and best practices within the remote engineering team.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, with a specialization in Structural Engineering.
A Master's degree is highly preferred.
A minimum of 7 years of experience in structural design of buildings.
Expertise in structural analysis software such as ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, and RISA.
Proficiency in BIM software like Revit Structure is essential.
Strong understanding of seismic design principles and code requirements.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage workload effectively in a remote environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent is a significant advantage.
