Overview

As a Senior Clinical Trial Manager at ICON, you drive clinical trial operations to achieve high-quality outcomes across our programmes. You will coordinate trial delivery, resolve issues, and strengthen team capability in a values-driven environment. A key focus is budget stewardship, study start-up, and enrollment, while maintaining study integrity and strong sponsor/vendor relationships. You will mentor CRAs and lead cross-functional collaboration to deliver trials on time and to high standards. This is an impactful role for shaping global trials within a collaborative, inclusive culture.

Responsabilidades

- Oversee the clinical portion of the budget to ensure efficient resource allocation
- Develop monitoring plans and tools to ensure effective study oversight
- Train and mentor Clinical Research Associates (CRAs) to optimize performance
- Drive enrollment and lead study start-up activities,

- Review trip reports and implement corrective and preventative action plans
- Foster productive relationships with Sponsors, vendors, and cross-functional teams

Requisitos principales

- A minimum of 4+ years in a Clinical Trial Management position at a CRO or Pharmaceutical Organization
- Bachelor's degree in health, life sciences, or other relevant fields of study
- At least 10+ years of relevant experience in clinical trial management
- Preferred: 2+ years of monitoring experience
- Experience in managing complex or integral trials is advantageous
- Preferred: Experience in managing all trial components from start-up to database lock
- Preferred: Experience in coaching/mentoring CTMs, leading a team of CTMs, and participating in departmental initiatives
- Willingness to travel approximately 25%
