Overview

In this home-based role, you support the precision medicine program across studies, guiding biosample management and data processes. You work with cross-functional teams to ensure compliant sample handling and biomarker data integration. You may lead programming for lab operations and data tracking, contributing to global logistics and vendor management. This position offers impact in shaping biomarker-driven clinical studies within Parexel’s precision medicine framework.

Responsabilidades

- Participate in cross-functional study team meetings to enable the precision medicine strategy for assigned studies
- Serve as subject-matter expert for sample management and testing, anticipating challenges and managing risk
- Contribute to study documents (protocols, ICFs, sample management guidelines) with a focus on samples
- Assist in creating and validating specialty laboratory databases for data collection and kit tracking
- Manage biosample process planning, storage, shipping, and data transfer throughout the study lifecycle
- Oversee acquisition and testing of samples for biomarker research and liaise with vendors to define scope




- Forecast operational costs and timelines; manage budgeting, invoicing, and reporting

Requisitos principales

- Minimum 6 years of clinical research experience
- Working knowledge of clinical drug development, databases, ICH/GCP, and FDA/local regulations
- Fluent in English; strong written and verbal communication
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; familiarity with role-specific systems
- Programming proficiency in Python, R, Perl, SQL or equivalent; familiarity with APIs and Linux/Unix when acting as programming lead
- Bachelor in Life Sciences or equivalent; biology or related major preferred
- Travel may be required occasionally
- Ability to work in a matrix environment and build cross-functional relationships
- Experience with data management and biomarker data handling
- Experience with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and integral logistics
