Overview

As a Murex Datamart and Integration Developer, you will design, build, and optimize DataMart extractions and interfaces for Back Office, Risk, Finance, and Regulatory reporting. You will connect Murex Mx.3 with external systems, maintain data feeds, and support live production environments in a banking setting. You will work with Business Analysts to translate data requirements into technical solutions, and you will help ensure data quality and performance. This role offers impact through scalable data integration and regulatory reporting support in a major financial institution.

Responsabilidades

- Design, develop, and maintain Murex DataMart extractions (reports, feeds, and data exports) for regulatory and financial reporting needs
- Build and support interfaces between Murex Mx.3 and external systems (GL, settlement platforms, risk engines, regulatory tools)
- Develop and maintain data feeds using Murex DataMart, MxML/Datamart API, and file-based interfaces (XML, CSV, fixed-format)
- Configure and optimize extraction workflows (scheduling, dependencies, error handling)
- Investigate and resolve production issues related to data extractions and interface failures
- Collaborate with BAs and BO/Risk teams to translate data requirements into technical specifications
- Support Murex upgrades/patches and perform regression testing
- Optimize extraction performance (query tuning,



batch scheduling, parallel processing)
- Develop and maintain integration components using messaging middleware (MQ, Kafka) or API-based connectivity
- Create and maintain technical documentation (interface specs, data mappings, runbooks)
- Participate in data reconciliation activities to ensure data consistency
- Provide L2/L3 production support for DataMart and integration issues

Requisitos principales

- Minimum 5 years with Murex Mx.3, DataMart module
- Strong experience designing and building Murex DataMart extractions
- Knowledge of Murex data model (trades, positions, market data, reference data, accounting events, cash flows)
- Experience with Murex integration methods: MxML, file interfaces (XML, CSV), DataMart API, real-time/batch data flows
- Strong SQL skills for complex queries and performance tuning
- Experience with at least one scripting language: Python, Shell, Perl, or Java
- Understanding of capital markets products (FI, FX, IR derivatives, equity/credit derivatives)
- Knowledge of Back Office and Risk data flows (settlements, confirmations, P&L;, risk measures)
- Experience in production support with SLA-driven incident management
