Overview

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be the go-to contact for suppliers and internal customers, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of queries. You will deepen expertise in country-specific AP processes and support new country implementations and process improvements. You’ll collaborate across Procurement, Vendor Master Data, and Accounts Payable teams to resolve issues and optimize workflows. You will track KPIs and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while delivering a positive supplier and stakeholder experience. This role offers exposure to a general, cross-functional finance environment with opportunities to shape AP processes across markets.

Responsabilidades

- Handle incoming supplier and requisitioner queries with accurate, timely resolution
- Investigate and resolve complex supplier and invoice discrepancies with internal teams and suppliers
- Reconcile vendor accounts and identify root causes of outstanding or incorrect transactions
- Apply established AP processes to resolve individual cases while ensuring a positive customer experience
- Collaborate with Procurement,



Vendor Master Data, and AP invoice-entry teams to fix issues and improve processes
- Support new country implementations and develop expertise in country-specific requirements
- Monitor, maintain, and report KPIs and business metrics
- Provide backup for other countries where language and process knowledge are required, and contribute to ad hoc projects and continuous improvement

Requisitos principales

- Experience in Accounts Payable or similar shared-services environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to resolve issues end-to-end
- Effective communication and stakeholder-management abilities
- Attention to detail with ability to manage detailed processes and vendor accounts
- Good organizational skills and ability to handle multiple queries and priorities
- Fluent in German and English
- Comfort with business systems and Excel
