Overview

In this Senior Visual Designer role you shape Preply’s brand within product, guiding visual direction from discovery to delivery. You’ll partner with product teams to craft visual storytelling and establish a cohesive visual language for multiple squads. You lead complex product initiatives with independent judgment and refine guidelines by feeding product learnings back to Brand. The role combines design craft with scalable system thinking to drive a strong, consistent user experience at integral scale.

Responsabilidades

- Shape projects from inception by joining planning and discovery with brand storytelling.
- Independently lead visual work on complex product initiatives and deliver polished outcomes.
- Develop solutions across photography, illustration, 3D imagery, iconography, typography and motion.
- Represent Brand in product decisions and align cross-squad requirements through design judgment.
- Strengthen the shared visual system by turning challenges into reusable assets and guidelines.
- Prioritize work with visibility across squad roadmaps and align with Brand and Product leads.




- Provide constructive feedback and collaborate with engineers to ensure quality in implementation.
- Scale creative solutions through AI by creating reusable prompts and workflows for imagery within brand guidelines.

Requisitos principales

- Strong portfolio showing senior-level visual craft and brand design for digital products.
- Experience leading projects from ambiguous briefs through implementation with clear rationale.
- Excellent typography, composition, colour and visual storytelling, with usability and accessibility understanding.
- Ability to influence cross-functional partners, manage feedback and align around a creative direction.
- Strong Figma skills and experience creating reusable design assets and guidance.
- Good judgment balancing quality, scope and timelines across multiple initiatives.
- Experience with illustration, motion or imagery generation is a plus.
