Overview

In this role you will contribute to quality across a squad by building and maintaining automated tests in Python, executing test suites, and delivering QA metrics to support a data-driven culture. You will collaborate with developers, designers, and product owners to ensure high-quality software throughout the development cycle. This position offers the chance to shape testing approaches, drive automation, and spread a culture of quality across the company. Barcelona-based, you join an international team and work on scalable QA solutions that impact product success.

Responsabilidades

- Create, update and maintain the test set for the Squad products
- Build software that tests software by coding (Python)
- Compose, execute and assess results of automation tests
- Provide QA metrics to contribute to a data-driven culture
- Collaborate closely with developers, designers and product owners




- Generate and spread a culture of quality across the company

Requisitos principales

- Computer Science Engineering or related field
- 3+ years experience as QA Automation Engineer
- Proven experience in software testing
- Proven experience with agile development practices
- Knowledge about BDD strategy
- Experience on API testing
- Programming experience in any object-oriented language
- Gherkin / Cucumber, Postman
- Programming experience in Python
- Experience managing a custom testing framework
- Proven experience using BDD frameworks
- Experience on non-functional testing
- Experience on Big Data Testing is a BIG plus
- Experience in CI environments
