Overview

In this role you will own features end-to-end across the stack, from database and backend services to the UI. You’ll collaborate with designers, PMs and engineers to ship iterative features, focused on maintainability and scalability. You’ll strengthen observability, testing, and operations while balancing legacy and modern tech. You’ll shape the product with data-driven decisions and actively contribute to engineering guilds and cross-team initiatives. This is a hands-on, impact-driven position at a scalable SaaS platform used across Europe, with a strong emphasis on UX and system quality.

Responsabilidades

- Own features end-to-end across the stack (DB schema, backend, UI) from design to deployment and operations
- Pair with engineers, designers, and PMs to ship features and iterate based on usage
- Participate in design and code discussions, making trade-offs affecting product and team
- Maintain automated testing across unit, integration, and end-to-end levels
- Improve observability with metrics, dashboards, and alerts using tools like Datadog, Sentry, and web vitals
- Design and build backend services and APIs in Java and Spring Boot,



including event-driven flows with RabbitMQ
- Take ownership of services with a DevOps mindset from architecture to deployment and operations
- Validate ideas with data by instrumenting work and measuring impact to guide scaling
- Be an active member of the Engineering Guild to share ideas and tackle cross-team challenges
- Lead technical discussions on trade-offs in features, architecture, and UX
- Navigate a hybrid codebase balancing legacy Backbone with modern React/TypeScript
- Build internal tools to help operations and support teams move fast without risk

Requisitos principales

- 7+ years of software development experience
- Strong focus on modern web frontend and hands-on backend services
- Own features end-to-end with responsibility for code and areas owned
- Product mindset with user-centric thinking
- Data-driven with instrumentation and evidence-based decision making
- Comfort with ambiguity in complex domains
- Excellent English communication skills and ability to explain complex ideas
- Experience working with remote and co-located teams
