Overview

In this role you will design and maintain data models and pipelines to support analytics across Deel’s global platform. You will work within the Data team to ensure accurate metrics and reliable data for decision-making. You’ll optimize SQL and dbt-based transformations, implement data quality checks, and collaborate with analysts to align definitions. This is a hands-on, impact-driven position at a fast-growing SaaS company shaping the future of integral work.

Responsabilidades

- Design, develop, and maintain data models aligned with data architecture and business needs
- Manage end-to-end data pipelines from extraction to loading for timely analytics
- Write complex SQL queries and macros to transform data with performance considerations




- Incorporate data quality checks and cleansing routines to ensure reliability
- Collaborate with data analysts and analytics engineers to standardize metrics and definitions
- Lead portions of meetings or propose improvements to analytics workflows

Requisitos principales

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics)
- At least 6 years of experience in data analytics engineering or BI development
- Strong SQL proficiency and experience with dbt and data warehousing concepts
- Hands-on experience with BI platforms (Looker, Tableau or similar)
- Basic programming skills in Python or similar language for data processing
- Proven ability to manage multiple data projects and meet deadlines
- Good communication skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders
