Overview

In this role you own and evolve the SAP Commerce Cloud backend platform, ensuring a secure, scalable, and future-ready eCommerce foundation. You work across DevSecOps, cloud tech, and integrations to drive performance, reliability, and platform excellence. You’ll modernize backend integrations and enable AI-related capabilities, collaborating with cross-functional teams to strengthen the SAP Commerce ecosystem. This is a chance to shape platform standards and accelerators while supporting production operations.

Responsabilidades

- Own the SAP Commerce Cloud platform lifecycle: patching, upgrades, security notes, dependency management, and authorization concepts
- Drive platform-wide performance, scalability, resilience, caching, clustering, and session management initiatives
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and release management
- Integrate and manage security tooling (e.g., vulnerability scanning, compliance like JFrog Xray)
- Support production rollouts, incident resolution, and continuous service improvements
- Modernize backend integrations (legacy RFC-based connections and APIs)
- Enable AI-related capabilities and integrations across the SAP Commerce ecosystem
- Build reusable platform components, templates,



and accelerators using SAP Commerce Cloud, Cloud Foundry, and Azure Container Apps
- Contribute to backend architecture standards, engineering best practices, guardrails, and reference architectures
- Collaborate with developers, architects, security teams, and business stakeholders to ensure platform excellence

Requisitos principales

- Strong hands-on experience with SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris)
- Solid Java development background (Spring Framework / Spring Boot)
- Experience designing and supporting enterprise-scale eCommerce platforms
- Understanding of backend architecture and distributed systems
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of Cloud Foundry and cloud-native architectures
- Experience with security controls, patches, vulnerability management
- Familiarity with authentication/authorization concepts and security tooling (JFrog Xray or similar)
- Experience with caching, session handling, clustering, high availability, and performance optimization
- Experience with API-based integrations and legacy connectivity patterns
- Exposure to Azure services (Azure Container Apps) is desirable
- Familiarity with AI-enabled architectures is a plus
