Overview

As a Senior Data Engineer at Amenitiz, you will lead the design, scaling, and governance of our data platform to empower cross-functional teams with reliable, high-quality data. You’ll architect scalable pipelines, own core models in Redshift, and drive data governance and observability. You’ll mentor engineers, lead design discussions, and collaborate with product, engineering, analytics, and data science to support data-driven decision-making. This role offers impact across the platform and a chance to shape our data strategy in a fast-growing environment.

Responsabilidades

- Design and implement scalable, secure data pipelines
- Architect and optimize ELT workflows in dbt
- Own integrity and performance of core data models in Redshift
- Establish data governance, observability, and quality standards




- Integrate diverse data sources and APIs
- Partner with engineering and product teams to improve data architecture
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize pipeline performance and incidents
- Contribute to long-term data platform strategy and tooling decisions
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and coaching

Requisitos principales

- 5+ years of data engineering experience in scaling infrastructure
- Expert-level SQL and strong Python proficiency
- Hands-on experience with BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift and orchestration tools like Airflow and dbt
- Cloud architecture knowledge (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and distributed systems
- Familiarity with data privacy, security, and governance frameworks
- Proactive problem-solving mindset and ability to diagnose complex issues
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with cross-team experience
