Overview

As a Senior Security Services Consultant, you act as a trusted security advisor to clients, helping them identify risks, strengthen their security posture, and meet compliance needs. You assess environments, design solutions aligned with business goals and regulations, and guide remediation and implementation. You share expertise with the team, mentor colleagues, and help clients adopt sustainable security practices beyond the initial engagement. This role blends deep technical know-how with strong consulting and communication to deliver practical outcomes.

Responsabilidades

- Conduct IT and information security risk assessments and provide actionable remediation recommendations
- Design security solutions aligned with customer requirements, internal policies, and regulatory obligations
- Perform white-box penetration testing and propose remediation
- Guide customers through security implementations and remediation for PCI DSS, SOX, HIPAA where applicable
- Assist with findings from assessments and audits and implement new security controls
- Advise on security architecture, OS capabilities, configuration, and best practices
- Develop sustainable security processes and controls post-project
- Help customers monitor and document compliance requirements
- Communicate findings and risks to technical and business stakeholders
- Build long-term customer relationships with tailored guidance




- Manage multiple engagements with clear priority, progress, risks, and outcomes
- Mentor colleagues and educate stakeholders on cybersecurity practices
- Identify opportunities to improve consulting methodologies and service delivery
- Perform additional duties and contribute to security initiatives as needed

Requisitos principales

- 10+ years of experience with IBM i operating system
- 10+ years in information security, cybersecurity, risk, or compliance
- Experience identifying and remediating risks from formal assessments
- Experience with IT security risk frameworks and risk assessment practices
- Strong knowledge of regulatory, privacy, and security compliance
- Experience designing or assessing security architecture and systems
- Hands-on security assessments and white-box testing
- Experience with PCI DSS, SOX, HIPAA or similar frameworks
- At least one relevant security, risk, audit, or governance certification (e.g., CRISC, CISA, CISM, CISSP)
- Strong consulting and communication skills to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple engagements
- Excellent project and time-management skills
- Proven ability to build trusted customer relationships
- Experience mentoring others and sharing cybersecurity knowledge
- Willingness to travel to customer sites
- Proficiency in Spanish and English
