Overview

As a CATT Tester, you will create, maintain, and execute automated tests for Calypso Back Office modules using CATT. You will work closely with BO Analysts to translate requirements into test scenarios and support SIT/UAT cycles during Calypso upgrades. You will analyze results, report defects with clear steps, and keep the CATT library aligned with current configurations. This role offers hands-on testing within an international banking environment, emphasizing precision, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Responsabilidades

- Create, maintain, and execute automated CATT test cases for Calypso Back Office modules (settlements, confirmations, accounting, SWIFT messaging)
- Run regression test suites during Calypso upgrades, patches, and deployments
- Analyze test results, identify failures, and report defects with reproducible steps
- Collaborate with Calypso BO Analysts to translate requirements into test scenarios
- Maintain and organize the CATT test library to reflect current BO configuration
- Participate in SIT and UAT cycles
- Document test plans, cases, execution reports, and defect summaries
- Support data preparation for tests (trade creation,



reference data, SDI configuration in test environments)
- Assist in reviewing CATT results using available tools and reporting mechanisms
- Escalate complex test failures and track resolutions

Requisitos principales

- Basic understanding of capital markets products and trade lifecycle
- Basic understanding of Back Office processes: settlements, confirmations, accounting, SWIFT
- Familiarity with software testing concepts: test plans, regression testing, defects
- Ability to write/read basic SQL for test data verification
- Attention to detail and ability to follow structured procedures
- Good written and spoken English
- Willingness to learn Calypso and CATT on the job
- University degree in Finance, IT, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Any prior exposure to Calypso platform
- Experience with CATT or other automated testing tools (Selenium, UFT, or similar)
