Overview

In this role you will contribute to the design and integration of ISR Mission Systems for aircraft like C295, RPAS/UAS, and A400M. You will work within a cross-functional team applying a V-model development approach, from requirements and design to verification, validation, and certification. You will coordinate with suppliers to ensure system readiness for ground and flight testing and eventual qualification. The position emphasizes safety, quality, and configuration control within mission systems.

Responsabilidades

- System detailed design for ISR mission systems (requirements, modelling, prototyping, ICDs, drawings, equipment integration)
- Supplier technical steering under a V-model lifecycle
- Plan and perform V&V; activities, including product laboratory validation and support to ground/flight testing
- Support qualification and certification of the system
- Ensure engineering disciplines like safety, quality assurance, and configuration control are applied to mission systems




- Oversee procurement activities from supplier selection to monitoring and control

Requisitos principales

- Experience in ISR Mission & Avionics disciplines
- Knowledge of ISR missions (Maritime surveillance, ASW, EW, etc.) is valued
- Strong understanding of Mission Sensors & Subsystems (optronics, radar SAR/MPR, SIGINT/ELINT/ESM/COMINT, ASW sensors)
- Knowledge of Displays, Navigation Systems, Computing Platforms, Transponders
- Experience with UAS and/or manned mission systems
- Proven ability to capture requirements and drive verification/validation to a certified system
- Knowledge of safety, quality assurance, and configuration control in mission systems
- Experience with supplier procurement activities
- Proactive attitude, good communication, and willingness to travel
