Overview

In this role you will manage end-to-end RFQ/RFP sourcing for MRP-driven demand, focusing on cost, quality and lead time. You will work within cross-functional teams to select suppliers aligned with general category strategy and drive negotiations for advantageous pricing. You ensure compliance with Flowserve guidelines and attach all required documentation to events. The position offers exposure to strategic supplier management, risk mitigation, and continuous cost reduction across parts and suppliers. This role combines rapid execution with strategic sourcing to support customer and stock orders.

Responsabilidades

- Execute sourcing events for BU/sites with primary focus on cost, quality and lead time
- Use Indigo Sourcing for all MRP demand items and follow its guidance
- Prioritize Past Due and In Compression items and expedite as needed
- Utilize Purchase Requisition Aggregation (bundling) to drive spend consolidation
- Select/deselect suppliers prioritizing strategic suppliers and segmentation
- Attach all latest revision docs (drawings, specs, ITPs) to events
- Negotiate final prices through multi-round bidding and consider lead time, OTD, and capacity




- Release final PO in ERP immediately after price is agreed and compliant with policies
- Operate in compliance with Flowserve policies and procedures
- Support cost reduction initiatives and compliance with commercial terms

Requisitos principales

- 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain
- 1+ years of sourcing experience
- Strong interpersonal relationship management
- Understanding of both commercial and technical areas of supply chain
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in Project Management
- Knowledge of regional supply base for assigned categories
- Understanding of market dynamics
- Strong analytical skills including data collection, analysis and interpretation
- Certified Supply Chain Professional
- Geographically mobile for development opportunities
- Ability to influence, communicate, and collaborate at all organizational levels
- Expertise with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and sourcing tools (e.g., Ariba)
