Overview

In this role you will design, build and deploy data integration pipelines that connect diverse sources (business, engineering, machines, drones) using Airbus’ integration platforms. You will collaborate with a cross‑functional team to deliver end‑to‑end data flows, ensuring performance, quality and alignment with data foundations. You’ll drive adoption of interoperable data services and support AI initiatives, shaping scalable data infrastructure across the organization.

Responsabilidades

- Design, implement and deploy data integration pipelines across multiple data sources using integration platforms
- Define integration tasks for new use cases and align with the Product Owner
- Lead UATs and deployment activities in collaboration with the Data Integration Operations Manager
- Support platform performance to meet SLAs and assist migration to a microservices/API-based architecture
- Contribute to AI adoption initiatives by enabling the interoperability layer for Agentic AI at company level
- Assist data modelling activities aligned with Data Foundations and Semantic layer defined by data owners
- Maintain up-to-date information flows and data integration SLAs; produce configuration management documentation and deployment plans




- Provide technical guidance on architecture and integrations within own perimeter; ensure data quality checks and automated alerts
- Create physical data models in data integration platforms for UCs; support data quality checks and alerts

Requisitos principales

- >5 years of experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on Data Integration
- >5 years hands-on with data pipelines using Enterprise Data Integration Platforms (ETL/ELT, API platforms)
- Experience handling data from CSV, JSON, XML, relational databases
- Strong programming skills (Python, Flask, Node, JavaScript, Express)
- Experience translating business requirements into reporting and models
- Proficient in querying and managing both relational and NoSQL databases
- API-based services technologies experience
- Understanding of microservices and event-driven architecture (EDA), preferably OnPrem
- DevOps methods/tools knowledge (2–3 years)
- IT project management knowledge
- Basic IT Service Management principles
- Basic knowledge of Data Analytics and AI principles
- Security clearance or eligibility to obtain one
- Fluent in English and Spanish
