As a System Safety Engineer at Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe, you ensure aircraft systems meet airworthiness safety standards throughout development and certification. You collaborate across design offices, engineering, and authorities to develop safety requirements and demonstrate compliance. You perform safety analyses, evaluate interfaces, and manage risk to support continuous airworthiness. Responsabilidades

- Perform System Safety Assessment activities for military aircraft systems up to certification
- Systematically examine functions to identify and classify failure conditions by severity
- Establish System Safety requirements and preliminarily evaluate architectures against safety objectives




- Generate evidence to demonstrate to Airworthiness Authorities that safety requirements are met
- Conduct Common-Cause analyses (Particular Risk, Zonal Safety, Common Mode) and risk analyses
- Manage safety requirements at interfaces to interacting systems
- Coordinate input/output with interfacing technical domains (processes, maintenance, human factors, performance, structures, quality)
- Review, approve, and apply supplier data on Safety and Reliability
- Address activity levels from aircraft to detailed hardware/software requirements

Requisitos principales

- Master degree of Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering (or similar)
- Good knowledge/understanding of aircraft systems
- System Safety Assessment experience or extensive System Engineering experience with Safety/Airworthiness/Certification interfaces
- Advanced skills with MS Office
- Experience with Safety Tools (e.g., Isograph FaultTree+)
- Good level of English
