Overview

In this role you provide hands-on electrical expertise during wind turbine installation, connection, and finishing to ensure readiness for commissioning. You work closely with engineering and field teams to resolve electrical and quality deviations, while upholding HSE standards. You will guide on-site supervisors, contribute to method improvements, and support prototype testing of new electrical solutions. The position is international and hands-on, offering opportunities to influence turbine reliability and performance across the lifecycle.

Responsabilidades

- Provide technical electrical support during installation, connection, adjustment and finishing of the WTG
- Identify and resolve electrical and quality deviations to enable smooth commissioning and long-term reliability
- Ensure compliance with HSE on site and intervene if safety rules are breached
- Coordinate and implement electrical technical modifications with Engineering
- Deliver on-site training and technical guidance to supervisors and field teams
- Improve electrical instructions, work methods, and procedures for installation and finishing
- Collaborate in prototype testing and validation of new electrical solutions




- Report site activity status and prepare technical documentation
- Perform electrical quality checks and document findings and corrective actions
- Participate in coordinating site activities and continuous improvement initiatives

Requisitos principales

- Vocational technical studies (FPII/Technical Diploma) – mandatory
- Engineering degree (Electrical, Electromechanical, Mechatronics, Mechanical) is a plus
- Minimum 3 years of wind industry experience
- Experience in wind farms (installation, electrical works, commissioning or maintenance)
- Comfortable working at heights and in demanding HSE environments
- Experience leading teams or in quality roles is valued
- Solid electrical knowledge and hands-on approach
- Good computer skills (Office, reporting tools, technical platforms)
- Resourceful with problem-solving mindset and onsite decision making
- Strong focus on safety, quality and operational excellence
- Full availability to travel without restrictions
- International driving license (or willingness to obtain)
- Good level of English (spoken and written)
