Overview

In this role you will lead and continuously improve procurement operations within Glovo’s Global Procurement team in Barcelona. You’ll drive efficient, compliant processes from requisition to purchase order and manage a high-performing team. You will turn procurement data into insights for leadership, push process simplification and automation, and partner with Technology and other functions to enable scalable governance and controls. This is a hands-on role with impact across procurement, finance, and operations, shaping how we buy and how we govern spend.

Responsabilidades

- Lead procurement operations ensuring accurate, compliant execution (Req-to-PO)
- Coach and develop the procurement team with clear objectives and a culture of ownership
- Own operational KPIs/SLAs and use analytics to drive improvements
- Develop reporting and translate data into actionable insights for leadership
- Identify opportunities to simplify, standardise, digitalise and automate processes




- Partner with Technology and other teams on process/system enhancements from requirements to adoption
- Ensure adherence to policies, approvals, and internal controls for governance and audit readiness
- Manage complex operational issues and escalations to drive sustainable root-cause resolutions
- Build cross-functional relationships with Procurement, Accounts Payable, Finance Systems and the business

Requisitos principales

- Experience in Procurement Operations, Source-to-Pay, Procure-to-Pay or similar operational environment
- Proven experience leading and developing teams
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, governance and controls
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with data/KPIs to drive decisions
- Experience leading process improvement, digitalisation, automation or transformation
- Strong project and stakeholder management across functions and levels
- Experience with SAP Ariba and SAP is highly desirable; proficiency in Excel and BI tools (Looker, Tableau or equivalent)
